Event Description
Math Verde is an art-integrated competition where students create artwork using geometrical shapes. This event explores the creative and mathematical aspects of art by encouraging participants to design a forest with shapes and fractional parts, exemplifying the limitless potential of mathematical concepts.
Rules and Procedures
This event consists of two rounds.
Round 1
Designing the forest on the chart paper using the cutouts of circle and its fractional parts.

Teams will be given 45 minutes to present their design on a chart paper.

Chart paper will be provided at the venue.

Participants are required to bring cutouts of circles and their fractional parts to the event venue on the day of the event and use them to create the forest design on the provided chart paper within the allocated time.

Basic stationery such as pencils, erasers, rulers, coloured pencils, markers, crayons, and decorative items are permitted.

The design should illustrate a forest scene using circles and their fractional parts.

Teams must utilize at least 80% of the chart paper's surface area.

The design must be labelled with the participant's/team's name.

The time limit for completing the design will be strictly enforced. Completed designs must be submitted before the specified time limit; late submissions will not be accepted.

Each team must exhibit their finished forest design and deliver a narrative explaining their work. The presentation must be completed within a maximum time limit of 3 minutes.
